The Mount Kisco Child Care Center (MKCCC), a non-profit childcare facility serving families in Northern Westchester communities for more than 42 years, has created a slate of programming to celebrate The Week of the Young Child, an annual event sponsored by the National Association for the Education of Young Children. This year’s theme is “Early Years Are Learning Years.”
The center will hold events, including a grandparents reading event and a neighborhood cleanup, between April 14-20.
If patrons bring a MKCCC-issued coupon to Quaker Hill Tavern in Chappaqua on April 16, the restaurant will donate 10 percent of your dining check to MKCCC. The center will also launch a new “Mommy and Me” group—dubbed “BABY TALK!”—on April 18.
The center will hold an open house on April 19 between 10 a.m. and noon and 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. The children will be dressed as beloved book characters.
Interested parties should RSVP to Helen Bock at firstname.lastname@example.org.
