ARMONK – Fifth-graders from Wampus Elementary School ran their annual Olympics for kids with special needs with the help of some great summer weather.
Wampus students under the guidance of fifth grade teacher Janet Thompson organized storytelling, soccer drills, a slam-dunking station and a host of other activities for the visitors from Southern Westchester Boces.
In all, 22 kids with special needs spent the day with two fifth grade classes.
