BRIARCLIFF MANOR: The People’s Caucus of Briarcliff Manor will be holding its annual nominating meeting at 8 p.m. Wednesday in the Middle School Theater on Pleasantville Road.
At this meeting, caucus members will nominate candidates for two village trustee positions. The seats of Robert Mayer, who is not seeking re-election, and Anthony Capasso, are up along with the chairperson of the caucus’ executive committee.
Executive Committee Chairman Keith Austin is not seeking re-election due to term limits. Shelly Poulton, secretary, will not seek re-election. Aaron Stern, caucus vice chirman will seek nomination for caucus chair. Carol Blair, member at large, will seek nomination for secretary, and Mark Pohar, treasurer will seek re-nomination for his current position. Bryan Zirman is expected to be nominated as caucus vice chairman.
Caucus membership is open to all eligible voters in the village of Briarcliff Manor regardless of any other political party affiliation. Any member may seek the nomination as a caucus-endorsed candidate.

On Jan. 18 those nominated will participate in a public forum, and if there are multiple candidates, a voting meeting for causus endorsement will be held Jan. 25.
