The judge in the criminal case against Paul Greenwood has postponed a hearing previously scheduled for Monday in which his former business partner, Stephen Walsh, was going to ask for access to frozen funds for his criminal defense. Walsh’s lawyers have asked that Greenwood testify and the government’s lawyers are asking the judge to throw out the subpoenas.
Judge Miriam Goldman Cedarbaum set April 1 as the date for the defense to submit a response to the motion to quash the subpoenas and April 8 as the date for the government to respond. A new tentative date for the hearing is April 15 at 11 a.m.
