Mount Kisco Public Library officials recently announced they’re changing the facility’s hours in early September.
Susan Riley, the library director, said in an e-mail that the schedule change was based upon usage statistics and responses from local residents who took part in an on-line survey about the library’s operating hours.
The change opens up the library on Fridays and trims the number of hours the facility is open on some other days of the week.
The new schedule, which takes effect Sept. 7, calls for the library to be open 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Mondays and Tuesdays.
The library will be open from 11-7 on Wednesdays and Thursdays as well as from 11-5 on Fridays. It will be open from 10-4 on Saturdays and closed on Sundays.
If you have any questions about the new schedule, call the library at 914-666-8041.
