Auditions: Bedford’s “Gypsy”
Bedford Community Theatre will hold auditions for “Gypsy”—with all roles open—on Sept. 7 (from 4 to 9 p.m.) and Sept. 9 (from 4 p.m. to completion).
Director Carin Zakes will be casting Mama Rose, June, Louise, Herbie, Tulsa, and those funny strippers. There are also several roles for young actors, age 8 and older, and for the ensemble. Performances are Nov. 12-14 and Nov. 18-21 at the Bedford Hills Community House. Tickets will go on sale in October.
This is BCT’s ninth annual production, and will be produced by Diane Bradsell and Patrick Brown.
Auditions will be held at the Bedford Hills Community House. Participants may request an audition time slot (recommended) by contacting catetesta@hotmail.com.
All performers should come prepared to sing and dressed to move. Bring sheet music in your key. Accompanist provided.
