With Tuesday’s referendum victory in hand, Katonah-Lewisboro School District officials can now move ahead with long-sought plans to build and renovate fields at John Jay High School.
Voters approved the field construction plans by a more than 2-to-1 margin in the referendum, according to unofficial results.
The $3.13 million referendum clears the way for building two new fields at the AP Farm property across the street from the high school and renovating an existing baseball field back on the high school campus. It would also fund air conditioning improvements at the high school.
