While North Castle supervisor candidate Frank Benish — running on an independent line though endorsed by the Libertarian Party — appeared to be in third place with incomplete vote tallies Tuesday night, the unofficial numbers today from the Board of Elections put him in second place.
With the final two districts added to the Board of Election numbers today, Benish has 990 votes to 965 votes for Democrat Becky Kittredge. Republican Bill Weaver won the race with 1,648 votes.
Republican council candidates John Cronin and Diane Roth won with 2,311 and 1,800 votes respectively. Democrat Bob Romano got 1,437 votes and his running mate Stacey Silpe got 1,118 votes, according to unofficial numbers from the Board of Elections.
Receiver of Taxes Patricia Colombo and Town Justice Robert McGoey ran unopposed.
