Today I had the opportunity to photograph Poet Susan Hoover as she spoke to sixth grade students at the H.C. Crittenden Middle School in Armonk. She was at the school as part of their Poet in Residence program. Poet In Residence 10-10-09

Poet Susan Hoover speaks with sixth grade students at the H.C. Crittenden Middle School in Armonk Oct. 27, 2009. Hoover is from Woodstock, N.Y. and has been taking part in the school’s Poet in Residence program for 16 years. Some of the students in the class get to have their work published in the school’s annual Art & Literary magazine called Harold’s Pen. ( Frank Becerra Jr. / The Journal News )
